A Flower Named You

Perched alone on the ground
Anxiously waiting to be found,
Thou look towards a clue
For a flower named you.

Singing along a happy song
As others find where they belong,
Deep within thou soft roots
Hope to eat thy patient fruits.

Seen different flowers grow and bloom
Different shades have led to doom,
Spread light on their leaves
Cast in shadows of disbelieves.

Always thought thou was special
Looked at self on a unique level,
Yet to know of equal perspective
Eyes have only been selective.

Denied the feeling of natural attraction
Received only untoward reaction,
Crushed and crumbled under many feet
Yet leave space for thou seat.

Days past with sun and moon
Seen many nights and noon,
Looking towards the unknown blue
I await for a flower named you.
