Is It Home?

Every step that I set upon
Every way that I look on
Every beat that I hear on
Reminds me of the times that have gone.

From the memories that I made
To the mistakes that everyone forgave,
In the palace of serenity
Home showed me the world's divinity.

Far away from all the noises
Sitting in the shade of familial voices
Indulging in the food of choices
Suddenly a peculiar thought rises.

Months have passed since my stay
Longing to be here every day,
But after living under a different ray
Have I found home in another doorway?
