Foolish Angel Finale

Ram entered the beggar’s body and with one snap of his fingers, he let time start again. Everyone around him started moving again. He then stood and everyone within the tent turned to look towards him. “Stop! I said stop!” Ram shouted. Everyone stopped chanting and singing. Pin drop silence fell within the tent. “I want everyone to get out of here. I am not going to help anyone of you anymore!” Ram shouted. “But Ramji, you have been sent to us to help right? You cannot ask us to leave you. What will we do without you?” Aanchal asked.

“That doesn’t mean I help you in attaining your selfish goals! You are not going to use me and my powers for that purpose. How selfish can you all be! One wants money. One wants fame. One wants women to swoon around him. Someone wants lust! None of you over here are truly praying for those who need safety and good health! All of you are liars! How are you all blinded by your own greed? You all either wake up and open your eyes or you can get out of here because I am not going to further your greed and selfishness!” Ram shouted. A tense atmosphere was built within the tent. Malini and cameraman Mohit were continuing to record the scenario in the tent. Everyone other than them were scared and looked towards each other seeking help to solve their problem. “Dhongi Baba (Fake priest)!” Suresh shouted after entering the tent with Vineet. “Yes people, it is true! Think about it! What has he done for you until now? All he asked Satish Sir was to have patience and that his life will be filled with richness and fame. It was only a coincidence that some help came to Satish Sir at the time Ram gave him this advice. Otherwise, what does he know about business? What does he know about medicines? He was just a roadside beggar before. By donning the dress and helm of a priest, he calls himself a miracle priest! But in reality he hasn’t done anything for us. Even now he was sitting in his meditative pose while we have built a tent for him and are singing and chanting praises for him! But as he got a hint that he would be caught, he says he won’t help us! He is a fake priest!” Vineet said. Everyone within the tent agreed to Suresh and Vineet and started chanting loudly ‘Fake Priest!’ A small crowd entered the tent, wondering what was going on. Ram had a shocked look on his face. Before he could do anything, Satish shouted, “Punish him!” Everyone then surrounded Ram, pushed him down on the floor and started beating him.

“Breaking News: Fake priest has been caught! Ram Baba, who was considered a miracle sent from Heaven; turned out be just like one of the fake priest who publicize themselves to loot public money! As you can see right now the victims of his scandal are punishing him for his sinful act!” Malini said. She then signaled towards Mohit to shift the camera focus towards the mob that was beating Ram. Slowly, the mob started ransacking the tent. “Todh do iss deewar ko (Break this wall)!” one of them shouted. The mob then moved towards the wall and started breaking it. After some while, the tent had fallen down. The wall was crumbled to stone and dust. The beggar’s body was badly beaten and blood started pouring out from some parts of his body. “Let’s take him to the police. We shall seek justice there!” Ram Gopal Verma said. Suresh picked up the beggar’s body and walked away from the fallen tent along with the rest of the people. Ram had managed to escape with his divine powers. He came back to the ransacked place in search of The Wall’s spirit. “I am here”, The Wall shouted. Ram looked back to locate where the noise came from. He then looked down on the ground and saw a stone looking at him. The Wall had turned into The Stone.

“You’re a real fool. From the very beginning, all you have done is foolishness! Why did you enter that beggar’s body to help him? He was going to die peacefully! Why didn’t you take him back to his village farm and with the help of your divine powers, bring some rain to his village and help him get back his farm and old job? Instead of begging or even becoming a priest, why didn’t you take him to some NGO who would have helped him have a safe and healthy life? Even with your minor intelligence, you could have helped him start a business. After that he could have helped others like him with the money he would have earned and thereby he would have fulfilled you request! After knowing what was going on in everyone’s mind, why didn’t you use your powers to change their mindset? Why didn’t you go away from that place and start the beggar’s life afresh? You have not only broken his heart, but you have also torn his life apart! If I had a heart, it would be breaking right now. This is entirely your fault! Have you now learnt your lesson now? Have you learnt that bad things always happen to good people!” The Stone said.

Ram was disappointed with himself. With no words left to say, he flew back to Heaven; slowly losing his hope in humanity!
