Foolish Angel Part 3
The sun was shining bright with white
clouds moving in the sky. Two men, both of them healthy, fair skinned, spiked
hair, and tall wearing white kurta and pyjama; were standing outside a tent
guarding the shoes kept outside it and also the people who were there inside,
singing and chanting praises for Ram. “Baba ki jay ho!” one of the guards
shouted. “Why are you praising this priest, Suresh?” the other guard asked. “Vineet,
don’t you understand? He is a miracle. He will bring joy in many people’s
lives!” Suresh said. “So what? How will it benefit us?” Vineet asked. “You will
understand very soon.” Suresh said, giving Vineet a wink.
Inside the tent, Ram was sitting
close to the Wall, in a meditative state. In front of him, five people were
sitting and chanting praises for him. A dusky, short, curly and long haired
woman wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black specs, holding a mike in her
hand; entered the tent. Along with her a tall, slightly fair skinned, short
haired man wearing a light brown jacket on a black t-shirt, blue jeans, holding
a camera in his hands; also entered. The woman then spoke, in a sweet
voice; on the mike, “Hello everyone. I am Malini, reporting live about a unique
event that is happening in Mumbai. As you can see here, are devotees of Ram
Baba who according to them is a miracle directly descending from heaven. Some
even call him a true messenger of God. Many people have visited Ram Baba and
have said that his blessings have brought great joys in their lives. Now let us
ask the devotees how Ram Baba has helped them!” Malini, along with the
cameraman; moved close to Ram. They stood beside Satish, who was wearing an orange
kurta and white pyjama; chanting praises for Ram. “Sir how has Ramji’s
blessings helped you?” Malini asked. “I was walking through an empty street,
where Ram Baba was sitting alone. I was stressed due to great losses that I
suffered in my business. Ram Baba called me towards him and told that his
blessings would help solve my problem. At first I didn’t believe him. But after
I got an offer from a multinational company, through which I would not only be
able to pay my debts but also take my company to great heights; I was relieved
and felt truly blessed by Ram Baba. He gave me these blessings even though I didn’t
seek for it. He is generous and a true messenger of God. Ram Baba ki jay!”
Satish shouted. Malini and the cameraman moved towards a short, fair skinned,
fat, long and dark brown haired woman wearing a yellow sari, red bindi on her
forehead, golden jewellery around her neck, on her hands and legs; sitting on
Satish’s left hand side. “Ma’am, what is your name?” “My name is Aanchal,
Satish Sir’s wife!” Aanchal said, giving Satish a pat on his back. “How has
Ramji helped you?” Malini asked. “Ram Baba saved my husband’s business and his
life. By doing, so he even saved our family. He is truly generous and a kind
man. Now I only want to ask him to bless our family good health and safety for
the future. Jay Ramjiki!” Malini and the cameraman then moved close to a short,
fair skinned, thin, black haired woman wearing a pink t shirt, blue jeans and
white bangles on her hands; who was sitting on Satish’s right hand side. “What
is your name, young lady?” Malini asked. “My name is Aakanksha and I am Satish
Sir’s daughter.” Aakanksha said, smiling towards the camera. “How has
Ramji helped you?” Malini asked. “Ramji has helped my family and I want to take
his blessings for my future career and life. I hope his blessings help other
families too. I will pray for them along with Ramji!” Aakanksha said. She then
looked towards Ram, folded her hands and closed her eyes to pray.
Malini and the cameraman moved
behind Aakanksha where a short, dusky skinned, short, curly and black haired
man with a black moustache on his face wearing a white shirt, black jeans and
light brown fedora hat; was sitting and praying. “Ram Gopal Vermaji, have you
come to Ramji to take blessings for your movies to succed?” Gopal opened his
eyes, looked towards the camera and said, “No. I have come here to document Ram
Baba’s story. I want people to know what Ram’s life was like and how he has
become. I want to show this documentary film especially to those people who
believe in priests and miracles. Bolo Ramjiki..” “Jay!” everyone shouted in
chorus. Malini and the cameraman then moved towards a short, fat, fair skinned,
grey and curly haired man wearing a white coat on a grey shirt and black pants,
sitting beside Ram Gopal Verma. “What is your name, Sir?” Malini asked. “I am
Dr. Ramesh Verma.” “Why have you come here to take Ram Baba’s blessings,
doctor?” Malini asked. “People call doctors the Hands of God. And here, a true
messenger of the Gods has descended. I have come to take his blessings so that
I can create medicines that will cure many diseases and illness this world
faces. I hope that Ramji’s guidance will help me achieve this.” Ramesh said,
folding his hands and bowing towards the camera. He then turned to look towards
Ram and started praying. Malini then stood up, looked towards the camera and said, “As you can see, just like others who have visited this place; these
devotees have come to seek blessings from Ramji not only to help themselves but
also to help those who need it. I am Malini Shekhar, reporting with cameraman
Mohit Patel, for India TV.”
Suddenly everyone within the tent
and outside it stopped moving. It was as if time itself was stopped. Ram opened
his eyes, looked towards the Wall and then asked, “So do you still believe that
humans are an abomination?” “I still do Ram. The question is are you blind? Can
you not see the true purpose these humans have with you?” The Wall said.
What has the Wall seen that the Angel Ram couldn't perceive? Will Ram find out the truth? Find out in the next
blog.
